"Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill." - Muhammad Ali
Last night ,we went for an aspiration talk by Sir Clive Woodward which was a part of a dinner event by Johnson & Johnson Vision Care . The talk was about "Be the best you ca be" and it was very nice and well presented. The key message was if you want to be successed in your career ,the talent and skill is not enough and you should be a warrior and a champion to hard work and be so obsessive . And three main things that you should remind to yourself everyday are " Change thinking, Critical essentials and Critical non essentials " .He finished his talk by the quote from Churchill when he said: " Never doubt that a small group of people can change the world. In fact ,it's the only thing that ever has."
By the way, my talk went very well yesterday and although it was in an important session with more than 500 audiances and most of other speakers were professors from Germany and Canada and sweden, I recieved lots of positive feedback afterwards. I think it was my 12th talk in the international conferences during my PhD and in compare of my previous presentations, I think , now I don't have any stress before and during the talks and more relax and focuse which is good and I feel better and more satisfy.
